Every week I add my thoughts on the latest properties on the market here in Whistler, including my opinion on properties that are a good value or extra special. Why it’s interesting:
I’ve always been a big fan of the Montebello properties. The location is fantastic and the designs make excellent use of the space and are well suited to both full and part-time living. Montebello was built in two phases. The first phase has residential zoning which does not permit short-term rentals. The second phase does permit short-term rentals. This new listing is in the first phase. The floor plan has the kitchen, living, dining and guest bedroom and 3-piece bathroom on the ground level with the master bedroom and second guest room on the upper level, perfect for families with younger children. Both bedrooms on the upper level include ensuite baths.
Who it appeals to:
Medium sized families looking for a property close to the village but with a residential (get to know your neighbours) kind of feel.
