Every week I add my thoughts on the latest properties on the market here in Whistler, including my opinion on properties that are a good value or extra special. Here’s why the Whistler agent tour is important. My thoughts for this week are below.

Why it’s interesting: 

Northern Lights is a true side by side townhome project that sits perched above Whistler Village with expansive views of the Whistler Valley and Whistler Village. Great design with high vaulted ceilings, tons of natural light and generous room sizes. This unit is well located within the development and has been immaculately cared for by one owner since it was built in 1993. In my opinion the price is a bit high, so hopefully there’s some room for negotiation.

Who it appeals to: 

Vancouver or Seattle families looking for a good-sized recreational property within walking distance of the village. Someone willing to spend some time and money updating the finishes and perhaps developing some of the crawlspace area.

Who it’s for:

Full time families willing to take on the work of updating and possibly expanding this solid home on a nice lot. Builders.

Comments:

Two level, 2 bedroom/2 bath townhome in Arrowhead Pt high up in the Blackcomb Benchlands. Nicely renovated property overlooking green belt. A short walk from the ski slopes of Blackcomb Mountain. Private hot tub.

Who it’s for:

Weekenders and investors looking to manage their own rentals through tools like Airbnb.
