Each Tuesday, the REALTORS® in Whistler tour the newly listed properties. Every week I add my thoughts on the latest properties on the market here in Whistler, including my opinion on properties that are a good value or extra special. Here’s why the Whistler agent tour is important. My thoughts for this week are below.
Why it’s interesting:
Well located and highly desirable 2-bedroom property in the North Star development on Main St. Walking distance to all the village offers and a quick bus ride to the base of both mountains. Tourist accommodation zoning so income generation is an option. Last sale in the complex was $1,199,000 although GST didn’t apply on the most recent sale.
Who it appeals to:
This will appeal to a wide range of Whistler users and also to those looking to add another rental investment property to their real estate portfolio. Great rental location but also well suited to owner use. Families with one or two children. Most likely Vancouver buyers.

Bright & spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath property in the Cheakamus Crossing neighbourhood. Connected to the district energy system so operating costs are low.
Who it’s for:
No restrictions on who can live here but these properties are well suited to locals and popular with young families. Soccer field is close by along with easy access to great hiking and biking trails, Logger’s Lake etc.
